Poland National Team represents the men's Poland football team. It is supervised and handled by the Polish governing body "Polish Football Association" with Cezary Kulesza as a President. It is well known by the name "The Eagles" in the football world. It is qualified for the 2022 FIFA World cup Qatar for the ninth time since 1938 and is in Group C along with Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Argentina.
The Eagles competed in their first-ever international game on December 18, 1921, when they faced Hungary. Between 1972 and 1982 was considered the golden era in Polish football history. They won two bronze medalists in FIFA World Cup. Recently, Poland held 26 positions in the FIFA ranking, and their best was 5th in August 2017. It is one of the emerging European nations.
Currently, they are contesting in the Nations League, and their last game was against Wales; they succeeded with an impressive win by a 2-1 score. The Poland national team is coached by Czeslaw Michniewicz, with Robert Lewandowski as a captain. The Munich striker Lewandowski is the top scorer(75) and the most capped(130) Polish player.
