A Look At His Early Life

Kamil Grosicki was born to their mother, Magdalena Grosenick, and father, Pawel Grosicki, on June 8, 1988, in Szczecin, Poland. Besides, Grosicki holds Polish nationality. 

Born and raised in Szczecin, he developed an interest in playing football at a very young and joined the youth club of Pogon Szczecin to further his playing career.

Kamil Grosicki’s Career at Club

Grosicki began his professional career with Pogon Szczecin’s leading team and was loaned to Legia Warsaw due to his request during the 2007 season. He was later loaned to  Swiss club Sion FC for the whole season in 2008 and to the Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok in February 2009.

With Legia Warsaw, he won the Polish Cup in 2008. His impressive season for Bialystok earned him a promotion to the central team, and he signed a three-year contract with them in June 2009. He won the Polish League and Polish Cup in 2010 with the Polish team.

Grosicki then signed a three-and-a-half-year contract deal with the Turkish club, Sivasspor, for a transfer fee of approximately above $1100000. The polish forward signed French Ligue 1 club Stade Rennes FC on January 2014. During his time with the French club, he scored 13 goals in 85 matches.

After an outing in France, he is currently signed a three and half year contract with the English Club Hull City on January 31, 2017, and made his debut against Liverpool on February 4, 2017, scoring his first goal for the English club against Burton Albion on August 12, 2017.

A career at the National Team

After representing Poland U-19 and U-21 Teams, Grosicki made his debut for the senior team against Finland in a friendly match on February 2, 2008. He scored his first international goal against Gibraltar on September 7, 2014, during UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifier.

The Polish winger was also one of the significant and prominent players alongside Kamil Glik and  Karol Linetty for the Poland team managed by Adam Nawalka in Euro 2016 that made it to the quarterfinals, where the team lost to eventual champions, Portugal, captained by Cristiano Ronaldo.
