Kychowiak was not a fan of football in his early childhood days. He was persuaded by his brother to take part in football and joined local sports academy at age of 12.

He joined youth teams of Polish clubs such as  Orzel Mrzezyno, Zaki 94 Kolobrzeg Stal Szczecin, Arka Gdynia and French Club, Bordeaux.

Grzegorz Kychowiak’s Professional Career

Grzegorz Krychowiak joined the senior team of Bordeaux during the season of 2009/10. Along with the French club, he was transferred to clubs such as Stade de Reims and  FC Nantes.

With Reims, he started regularly for the team and helped the team to be promoted to Ligue 2 of the French League.

His outstanding performance at the clubs earned him to be voted by fans as a team player of the season as well as being signed a three-year contract with the French side in June 2012 which had been promoted to Ligue 1.

After his spell at Stade de Reims, he signed with Spanish most oldest and influential La Liga club, Sevilla joined the side in July 2014 for a transfer fee of around $6.85 million. He made his debut for the Spanish club against Real Madrid on 12 August 2014 in the UEFA Super Cup.

With Sevilla, he went on win UEFA Europa League for two consecutive seasons 2014-15 and 2015-16. He was also player from Sevilla squad to be featured in the La Liga Team of the Season.

Krychowiak later joined and signed a five-year contract with the French club, Paris Saint-German on 3 July 2016.

The club went to win French trophies like Trophee des Champions in 2016 and Coupe de la Ligue as well as Coupe de France in 2016/17.

Grzegorz Krychowiak played at 2007 FIFA U -20 World Cup and scored a memorable goal against Brazil in the tournament. He was youngest Polish player to play in Polish U-20 team.

He made his international debut for Poland against Serbia in a friendly match on 14 December 2008 and scored his first international goal against Georgia on 14 November 2014 during Euro 2016 Qualifier.
