Following one season at Lech Poznan's youth team, Bartosz was promoted up to the senior team of the club.

On 1st of July 2011, Bartosz was loaned to Warta Poznan for a transfer fee of $180k. During his loan spell with Warta Poznan, he played 21 matches for 1 goal.
