Germany announces 27-man provisional squad for the FIFA World Cup 2018 Soccer

The Germany national football team has announced their provisional 27-man squad for 2018 FIFA World Cup. Bundesliga superstars Manuel Neuer and Marco Reus have made the cut despite recent injuries, but there’s no place for Mario Götze, who scored the winning goal in the final against Argentina four years ago.

Germany always seems to be among the World Cup favorites and 2018 is no different. In qualifying stages, the defending champions were typically ruthless, they were through with a 100% record – 10 wins from 10. Experienced top players are joined by talented young players like Leroy Sané and Joshua Kimmich.

It is the 18th time that Germany national football team to be performing in the FIFA World Cup and has lifted the trophy four times. Germany will face Mexico, Sweden, and South- Korea in the Group F.
