Early Life of Kroos

Toni Kroos was born on 4 January 1990, to a German parent Birgit Kammer and Roland Kross. He was born and raised in Greifswald, Germany, along with his brother Felix Kroos. His brother Felix Kroos is also a professional football player who plays as a midfielder for Union Berlin.

Club Career

Bayern Munich

Toni Kroos joined the youth academy of Bayern Munich in 2006 and was promoted to the club's senior team in 2007, at the age of 17. He made his official Bayern debut on 26 September 2007, in a match against Energie Cottbus. He was the youngest player ever to represent Bayern in a professional match at 17 years, a record then broken by David Alaba in 2010.

Loan at Bayer Leverkusen

He was sent on a loan to the league's fellow Bayern Leverkusen on 31 January 2009, for 18 months. He made his first appearance for the club on 28 February 2009, against Hannover 96 and his first goal for the club came on 18 April 2009, against VfL Wolfsburg. Kroos established himself as the regular starter for his team. His only season with the club ended up with a total of 43 appearances and 10 goals.

Return to Bayern Munich

After the expiration of his loan, he returned back to his old club. He made his start against Germania Windeck scoring a goal on 16 August 2010. He was featured as the first choice player for his club in the 2010-11 season. He soon formed a strong duo with Bastian Schweinsteiger. His six successive seasons with the club ended up with a total of 143 appearances and 17 goals.

Real Madrid

He further made his move to the La Liga side Real Madrid on 17 July 2014, signing to a six-year deal for an undisclosed fee. He made his debut his debut for the club on 12 August 2014, in a match against Sevilla. He soon established himself as one of the world's best midfielders. He has won several major trophies with the club and still plays for the club.

International Career

Tony Kroos has represented his national team Germany in both junior and senior levels. He won the Golden Ball as the tournament's best player in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2007.

He made his professional international debut for his national team on 3 March 2010, in a friendly match against Argentina. He has represented his national team in two series of Worldcup. He has won over 80 caps for his national side scoring 11 goals.
