Australia has booked its flight to the 2022 Qatar World Cup. They qualified for the tournament after beating Peru in their intercontinental playoff on June 13. The game ended in a 0-0 score in the regular time, and a Penalty shoot-out helped to make the decision.

Australia is drawn to Group D, France, Denmark, and Tunisia. Qatar 2022 is scheduled from November 20 to December 18, with 32 teams in eight groups. 

Australia won the OFC Nations Cup four times between 1980 and 2004. Recently, They won the 2015 AFC Asian Cup. Mathew Ryan is the captain of the Australian National Team, and Graham Arnold will lead the team as their head coach.
