Tony Ferguson open to Fight Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor; Wants to Whoop Khabib's a** MMA

After 12 impressive win-streak, Tony Ferguson certainly deserves a title shot against lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

EL Cucuy displayed a brilliant showcase against Donald Cowboy Cerrone at UFC 238 on Saturday night as the bout ended on a controversial stoppage by the doctor that resulted in a TKO win for the former interim lightweight champion.

In a post-fight interview, Tony revealed that he is hoping for the title shot against the Eagle but he's open for the fight against Conor McGregor. Talking about UFC 242 title unification fight between Khabib and Dustin Poirier, he said:

“If Dustin Poirier doesn’t do it, I’m going to do it. Tiramisu [Khabib Nurmagomedov] needs an a** whooping. He needs two to the stomach from me. If it’s McNuggets [Conor McGregor] for a money fight or whatever. He’s an athlete, too. I know the division misses him inside here. I’m pretty sure he misses the fight game, too.

“I want to keep winning. What sounds better than 12 [wins in a row]? 13 — but it sounds a hell of a lot better with a title shot in that 13th victory.”

Poirier won the interim title with a unanimous decision over featherweight champion Max Holloway in April. He will fight Khabib in September at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi.

In Khabib were to win at UFC 242, Tony has his own plan to take down the Russian.

“If I were to fight Khabib, guaran-damn-tee you, I would throw him from his feet to his back and beat him like in sambo like a five-point move in wrestling. That’s my background."

Ferguson said.

He also talked about his possible bout against McGregor and said that he would love to have a standup fight against the former double-division champion.

“As far as McNuggets goes, I would love to stand toe-to-toe go with that dude."

“I respect him as an athlete. As a person, he’s kind of a douche. It’s improper 13, it literally is, and I got an attitude and I have a different agency right now, which is great. There’s no conflict of interest, that’s No. 1 and No. 2 is, I’m here to kick some a**. I ran out of bubble gum. We’re here to do business.”
