USADA Replies Colby Covington After His Bribery Allegations On USADA For Jon Jones Case MMA

Colby Covington and Jon Jones have a bad blood already and after he said certain things over JBJ-USADA case, every eyebrow got raised. Let's see what he said and then the USADA statement will be clearer when dealt after Colby's statement.

Covington in a podcast with Chael Sonnen said

“His scumbag management team, Malki Kawa and those guys, they’re probably trying to pay off the UFC or USADA somehow to get him back earlier'

He added:

“You never know the UFC’s side, they want to do business and make money so if he’s available, and USADA clears him, then they’re gonna want to do business and put him back out there to fight and make that company money,” he said. “They’ve got a $4 billion installment on that loan to pay back, so they’re gonna do whatever it takes to make money and pay back that loan.”

Let's take a look at  Sonnen’s You’re Welcome Podcast:

Now, let's talk about the whole USADA and Jon Jones case, The United States Anti-Doping Agency and Bones are dealing with each other from over a year after the former light heavyweight champion’s failed drug test, after his July 2017's super fight with Daniel Cormier.

As Colby brought $4 billion debt case on the table, all UFC community including fans started questioning the legitimacy of USADA and now USADA wants people including Colby to know that it's not the case.

USADA in a press release from MMAjunkie assured that no payment has been received from over or under the table in the Jon Jones case. Moreover, the agency does not ever accept payoffs when considering athlete punishments.

Jones following the test failure after his UFC 214 pay-per-view (PPV) event last July was suspended from mixed martial arts (MMA) and his licence was revoked following his Drug test failure. Its a second Drug Violation for Bones for unexplained reasons and USADA has not officially ruled the case either. If found guilty, Jones could face up to four years suspension but JBJ's manager expects a late 2018 return.
