For Frankie Edgar, the love story started back in his high school days. Edgar met his soulmate, Renee, while both were at Toms River High School East. 

Soon the couple started dating, however, they kept their relationship details low for years. Later, the duo surprised all after they revealed the news of their marriage. The couple got married on April 12, 2008, in a private ceremony.

As for a fact, Edgar walked down the aisle 10 days after his loss to Gray Maynard at UFC Fight Night 13 (Florian vs. Lauzon).

Frankie Edgar, who has experienced the bout against the players like Cub Swanson, Brian Ortega, and Jose Aldo, has also experienced the love of 2 sons:  Francesco and Santino James and a daughter Valentina.

The couple welcomed their first child, a son Francesco, in January 2009. Following this, they gave birth to their son Santino James in May 2010. 

 

What an amazing feeling being able to share this weekend with my sons. Fighting in my home state with my kids there for the first time ever is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I'm extremely proud to be from NJ so fighting here in that atmosphere with my family, teammates, friends, and fans there was an unbelievable experience
