UFC 229 Press Conference: Aggression Vs. Composure, No Fans Were Allowed Into Khabib Vs. Conor Press Conference MMA

September 20th, 2018, Newyorkers were restricted from seeing their favorite UFC superstar Conor Mcgregor just to avoid things like the Copperfield Theater's bottle fight in Las Vegas between Conor and Nate.

Further, NewYork has seen a lot of Conor McGregor drama which includes McGregor's fanboys being way too aggressive and cursing Conor's opponent, and what not. Hence to prevent all that, Dana White cut-off the fans and only press and media were allowed to enter the Times Square Building where the press conference was held.

For the first time in the history, Conor and Khabib were talking to each other and taking shots at one another only difference with this Conor McGregor press conference was that he wasn't with the cheering crowd alongside. To be honest, Conor looked a little shaky but the whole press conference ahead of their fight was pretty amazing.

Conor was as aggressive as ever and appearing in his formal attire, it looked as if he was never gone. Whereas Khabib, on the other hand, stayed calm, composed and more relaxed and his composure was clearly saying "I got this one".

It was A clear Aggression Vs. Composure

Khabib proved that nothing Conor says matters at this point of time because he's got the location, whereas Conor cleared that he came back for the love of the sports and has penned a six-fight deal with the UFC promotions.

Further, Conor reminded people that he is a hell of a salesman and smuggled a bottle of Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey into the Conference and announced that UFC is teaming with Conor's whiskey and is promoting the Wishkey along with it Conor revealed that the event is in partnership with The McGregor promotion which so far isn't confirmed by Dana.

Conor in his aggressive manner nailed the conference and said a bunch of controversial stuff on Khabib Nurmagomedov and his team but this time particularly The Mystic-Mac wasn't much into play, On being asked by a reporter about how many rounds would he actually need to put Russian man out? What Conor replied was somehow wrapped with words and clearly seemed reluctant to predict anything but said he looks for a first round KO but is ready to go to the distance with Khabib.

Further,  he mocked Khabib a lot but the players squared off and left with a fight to deal with. Conor even took a shot at Khabib’s manager and called him a ‘terrorist snitch’, on the basis of a book which suspected Ali Abdelaziz of being a double agent.

Khabib, on the other hand, tried backing up and defending his action over slapping Artem Lobov which looked like an honest approach from the current lightweight champion and despite taking some smaller shots he was seen humble throughout the conference and said that talking isn't what he does, and further said that he has the location now and sixth October will be a long night for Conor McGregor.

These two lightweight superstars are trying to prove their dominance in the game and both seem confident that the fight would end up in their direction. Conor and Khabib are going to settle their differences once and for all in T-mobile Arena Los Vegas in a UFC event at UFC 229.

A Six Deal Stretch For the Irish Man

After Conor said that he has signed an eight-fight deal with the UFC promotions, Dana White officially replied that the deal is for six fights, not eight. He further said that Conor Mcgregor isn't hard to negotiate with, he knows his worth and its actually easy to get Conor to talk on a table.

White Said:

”It’s not hard to do a deal with Conor McGregor because we know what he’s worth"

Conor further made it sure that the UFC assures his whiskey's presence be felt at all times, particularly its logo on the Octagon like how the UFC does with major sponsors.

McGregor on the very conference said:

”You bet your bollocks it is, On the canvas. On the canvas. Where his blood will be”

McGregor is almost set to make his Octagon return after two-year of his UFC absence on 6th October at UFC 229, when he challenges Khabib Nurmagomedov for the UFC lightweight title.
