You didn't expect Nate Diaz to sit quietly and listen to what Bruce Buffer said, did you?
The official octagon announcer for UFC events, Buffer earlier with TMZ told that he was surprised by the attitude of the veteran UFC fighter. “The Voice of the Octagon” also made a controversial statement that Nate should “be thanking the UFC and bowing to Dana White.”
In response to him, The Ultimate Fighter 5 winner hit with a fiery response late Sunday night on Twitter.
Bruce Buffer wtf get off the Ufc nuts your bowing down right now tellling me to bow down? fuck that u keep bowing down.
I Bow down to no one ever
for alll the money n the world...— Nathan Diaz (@NateDiaz209) August 27, 2018
Known for his rebellious behavior, Nate tells Buffer to “get off the UFC nuts” and won't bow down to anyone.
Nate Diaz is scheduled to fight Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 on Nov. 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York. He has been frequently expressing his dissatisfaction regarding the matchup.
Nate showed disappointment stating that UFC wasn't promoting his fight like that of Khabib Nurmagomedov Vs Conor McGregor.
Buffer wasn't quite pleased with that and said:
“I love Nate, but he’s always got a bad taste in his mouth. Nate, I heard you made $7 (million) or more dollars on your last fight. I don’t want to hear you complaining about being underpromoted by the UFC.
You should be thanking the UFC and bowing to Dana White every time you see him, (and) Ari Emmanuel, Patrick Whitesell. You’ve got $7 (million) or more dollars gross, before taxes, maybe much more – which I love knowing that you have, Nate. Please – I don’t want to hear any more.”
Earlier today, Buffer made a tweet and clarified his statement.
With all respect Nate that is not what I meant by saying the word “bow”, I meant it as a sign of respect as in when greeting someone, not a sign of submission as I’d never expect you to do that for anyone ?? @NateDiaz209 https://t.co/TkMUOTYnmX
