Marco Jhonfai Fabian de la Mora or simply known as Marco Fabian is a Mexican professional football player who plays as a midfielder for Mexico national team and the German professional football club, Eintracht Frankfurt.

Besides playing for Eintracht Frankfurt, he has also played for Mexican football teams such as Guadalajara and Cruz Azul and played at 2014 FIFA World Cup since making his debut for Mexican National Team since 2012. He was the part of Mexican Summer Olympics team that won the gold medal at the London 2012 Olympics.

Marco Fabian is of Mexican nationality. He was born on 21 July  1989 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and was fond of playing football since his early childhood days.

He played at the youth teams of Mexican club, Guadalajara from 1997 to 2007.

Marco Fabian’s Career

After spending 10 years at the junior team of Guadalajara, he made his first-team debut against Jaguares de Chiapas coming as a substitute for Sergio Avilla and scored his first goal against Morelia on 2 February 2008.

He was the part of the Guadalajara team that went on to win the Copa MX: Apertura 2015 and was transferred to fellow Mexican football club, Cruz Azul for two seasons long loan deal in December 2013.

Marco made his debut against Leon and was part of the Cruz Azul team that went on to win the CONCACAF Champions League for 2013/14 season.

He is currently playing for German football club, Eintracht Frankfurt as he signed a three-year contract for a reported transfer fee of $4.41 million in 2015.

Marco made his debut against VfL Wolfsburg on 24 January 2016 and was part of the team that went on to win the DFB Pokal for 2017/18 season. He has been playing as a regular for the club with fellow teammates Ante Rebic and Makoto Hasebe.

Marco Fabian’s International Career

After winning the gold medal for Mexico at the 2012 Summer Olympics, he made his full senior international debut for Mexico against Venezuela in a friendly on 25 January 2012.

He scored his first international goal for Mexico against Denmark in a friendly on 30 January 2013.

Marco has represented Mexico at the 2011/2013 Gold Cup, 2011 Copa America, 2017 Confederations Cup as well as FIFA World Cup in 2014.

He is one of the 23 Mexican men team that is in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia alongside Javier Hernandez, Edson Alvarez, Hector Moreno, Carlos Vela, Andres Guardado, Guillermo Ochoa and such other top-class players.

Currently 28, Marco Fabian stands at a height of  5 feet 7 inches and weighs around 65 kg. Talking about his personal life, he is rumored to be in a relationship with Ana Bekoa whom he had been dating since 2012.

He funded a football academy at Guadalajara, Mexico and is a fan of the baseball team, Charros de Jalisco and is a good friend with Javier Hernandez.
