Deal Done: Holly Holm and UFC Agree to a New six-fight Contract MMA

Fans will get to see Holly Holm in action for a couple more years. As reported by ESPN on March 20, UFC women’s Bantamweight champion Holm has signed a new six-fight contract with the promotion.

“I’m very happy with the deal. We worked feverishly with the UFC to get this done. We’re ready to get to work. I’m sure the UFC will have some great plans to announce for Holly in the near future.”

Holm's manager Lenny Fresquez said. However, the upcoming fight for the UFC star has not been announced yet.

She last made her octagon appearance at UFC 225 where she defeated Megan Anderson. She was also expected to fight Aspen Ladd at U"FC 235 but the further negotiations were not done.

Holm (12-4 overall, 5-4 UFC) signed with the UFC in 2014. She renewed her contract after her win over Ronda Rousey in November 2015. she still had 2 more fights as per the contract which now is superseded by the new deal.

Her manager Fresquez seems to be seeking for a mega-bout against the current UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes with the signing of the new contract.
