Well, David and Karen proving themselves as a low-profile couple have not talked much about their relationship. Though they are reported to be together since 2003,  they made their datings officially in 2005, following Coulthard's break-up with Brazilian model Simone Abdelnour.

And soon on June 2, 2006, the couple: David and Karen got engaged. 

The couple then took their relationship to another level without making it public at first. Though the wedding detail is not disclosed, it is believed that the couple got married on November 27, 2013, in Monaco as per Mirror. 

David in his interview with The Guardian revealed that he married Karen after 10 years of togetherness in a register office, as the couple already had a son together.

Children of David Coulthard

David, prior to his marriage welcomed a son Dayton Minier Coulthard shared with his then-fiancee and now his wife Karen Minier. The couple welcomed their son on November 21, 2008, at 1:25 p.m. weighing in at 6 lbs, 3 oz.

Also, David Coulthard is the father of a daughter from his previous relationship, however, the detail is not disclosed.

But most importantly, the happy family is reported to be enjoying the family life. Furthermore, regarding his love for the family, David Coulthard in his interview with iN10 money said:

"I’m not materialistic. Nothing would matter to me in terms of an item or a possession because that’s all it is. It’s always about family, friends, health, and happiness above all else."
