Earlier, Conor McGregor hinted his Octagon return at one of the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) events in July, probably UFC 239 on July 6 in Las Vegas. While the Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov will not get to fight until November and Donald Cerrone not seemingly interested in the bout anymore, Conor will have few choices left for the return.
And among them, the most sensible bout is a trilogy fight against Nate Diaz.
During his Proper 12 whiskey tour recently, Conor McGregor revealed that the trilogy fight against Nate is still on.
“He fought me, he beat me. He gave me a rematch at the exact same weight, there was no hesitation, that’s a true fighter right there. I have nothing but respect. I owe him the trilogy now and the trilogy will happen.”
