If it wasn't for the lawsuit and the whole dolly into the bus event, it would have been impossible to bring Conor back into the Octagon against the unbeaten Sambo style wrestler and current Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
With the fight getting more closer, big fighters are eyeing their shot in the main card, not to forget Nate Diaz is returning to fight Dustin Poirier will highlight UFC 230 which will be the second biggest fight to make this year.
Till today, fighters like Kevin Lee and Sean O' Malley are going vocal about fitting into the Las Vegas event. Kevin Lee also shared if Khabib fails to step in this time he will be ready to take Conor McGregor fight in the main event which shows how bad he wants this. He recently outed an Instagram image where he has said that his camp is already started for 229 even without an opponent.
He captioned the above-seen photograph with:
@motownphenom
"My camp already starting without a opponent. Somebody getting they ass beat October 6th and I’m not about to go back and forth with you about it. They shook. #UFC229
On the Other Hand, famous Bantamweight star, Sean O'Malley is also seen calling out fighters to stand on the other side of the Octagon with him. Famous UFC bantamweight star Sean O'Malley is has a name in his mind for UFC 229 and its another UFC BW star Alejandro Perez. Sean in his daily activity on Instagram recently shared a post calling him out, which shows that he is desperate about stepping into the Octagon too.
The same could be said for a desperate former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, as he is now free from his injury and wants Khabib or Conor fight. After five continuous failures, we hope Khabib Vs. Tony would be a long shot but if UFC wants, they can fit Tony Vs. Kevin Lee #2 for the number one contendership in the lightweight division, but the decision still remains with The UFC.
