Conor McGregor is very good at playing mind games. With over one month still remaining for the lightweight championship match against Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of UFC 229 on October 6, The Notorious has continued his mind games.
But this time he has targeted not Kbabib but his close friend and training partner Zubaira Tukhugov. The Chechen native Tukhugov was also a part of the attack aimed at Conor's close friend Artem Lobov some days before the UFC 223 bus attack.
The Notorious talked about the Chechen and Dagestani heritage and wrote that a true Chechen would never support a Dagestani against another a Chechen. He called it a treason.
"A true Chechen would never assist in a Dagestani led attack on another Chechen. A true Chechen would never take orders from a Dagestani man. This is treason. There is no worse than treason."
The former two-division champion wrote alongside Tukhugov's photo, who has been scheduled to fight his teammate Lobov.
The Irishman seems to be playing a mind game with the Russian who is scheduled to fight against him on October 6 in Las Vegas.
Earlier, McGregor took aim at Khabib's father calling him 'a quivering coward'.
“@abdulmanap.nurmagomedov I can see you. Cowering behind fake respect. Just like your middle child. A quivering coward.”
The Notorious wrote alongside a screenshot from Al Iaquinta’s video from inside the bus he attacked at the Barclays Center.
