There has been a feu going on between former lightweight champion Tony Ferguson and current champion Khabib Nurmagomedov on Twitter. After various claims and targets made by Team Khabib, El Cucuy has finally responded. The Eagle, ahead of his UFC 254 bout, claimed that Tony is no longer a threat and is finished.
Tony Furguson also responded to Khabib's manager Ali Abdelaziz's offer to fight another Khabib teammate Islam Makhachev. He declined his offer and claimed the ‘fight offer’ as a bribe.

Khabib's manager quickly responded and wrote: "You keep asking for 200k You have to earn it show up, beat @MAKHACHEVMMA if you can and after that you double-dip, a paycheck from the ufc and paycheck from daddy And I do manage both and guess what are they fighting each other You never got to fight Conor right?"
