Brioude, France native, Romain Bardet was born on 9th November 1990, under the star sign Scorpio. The thirty years holds French nationality. Professional Cyclist Career

Turned professional in 2012, Romain Bardet distinguished himself in that season's Tour of Turkey especially in the 3rd stage, finishing fifth overall in the race.

The following season, Bardet rode his first Tour de France and took his first professional victory at the Tour de l'Ain.

So far in his career, his best results have come on in his native country. In 2015, he won individual stages in the Tour de France which he continued to win following two seasons in 2016 and 2017.

Moreover, Romain Bardet placed in the top ten overall for five consecutive years (from 2014 to 2018 and finished on the podium two times: second overall in 2016 and third overall in 2017.
