Reebok Banned from selling Conor McGregor's Clothing Items in Europe MMA

UFC and MMA world is currently filled with the talks of the UFC 229 mega bout between the former two-division champion Conor McGregor and the undefeated current Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Also regarded as the most popular MMA star, Conor's name on the clothing brand is also very popular among his fans.

If you are living in Europe and searching for McGregor's Reebok kit and other clothing choices then you might have to stop wasting your time.

The District Court in The Hague in the Netherlands has ordered to withdraw McGregor's items of clothing designed by Reebok from the market as reported by The Irish Independent. The decision was made after McGregor's Netherlands-based fashion line “the epitome of preppy” had a trademark disagreement with the brand.

The court has ordered to withdraw McGregor’s Reebok hoodies, sweaters, and shorts within a week time and will have to face the fine of €250,000 if failed to do so.

Fashion label's lawyer said:

"The public would be confused into believing that the clothing made by Reebok for the Irish mixed martial artist and boxer comes from the McGregor fashion house. We asked Reebok to stop selling the clothing that would confuse the public but they refused."

This was only to make aware people about the fashion line of McGregor. The decision from the court came shortly ahead of The Notorious' bout against Khabib. This is expected to make a huge loss for the Reebok.
