As expected by the admirers of the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers, the Game 1 of the NBA finals was no less than a stunner. Both the teams played aggressively and enthusiastically down to the wire, they gave their best. But, one obviously has to emerge victorious at the end.
Warriors pulled out a dramatic win over the Cavaliers in the Game 1 of the NBA finals. With the Cavaliers having a single point lead in the first quarter, Warriors managed to have a single point lead and six points lead in second and third quarter respectively. In the fourth quarter, the LeBron James side managed a six-point lead, bringing the leveled-final score to 107.

In the extra time, the Warriors scored 17 points, while the Cavaliers only managed 7 points. With a 10 points lead in the extra-time, they claimed the Game 1 to their name.

At the Game 1 victory, James scored 51 points with 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Kevin Love managed 21 points with 13 rebounds and single assists and J. R. Smith scored 10 points with 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

For Warriors, Draymond Green, who was injured during the Game 7 of the Western Conference and was likely to miss the Game 1 of the NBA finals, but he managed to show up at the finals. He scored 13 points with 11 rebounds and 9 assists. Kevin Durant scored 26 points with 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Stephen Curry managed 29 points with 6 rebounds and 9 assists.
