Ecuador National Team, renowned as La Tri( The Tricolors) South American country, succeed in booking its place in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar. It is in Group with the nations like  Qatar, Senegal, and the Netherlands. Ecuador's national team symbolizes the Ecuadorian men's international football and is governed and directed by the Ecuadorian Football Federation. They joined FIFA in 1926. The team has 46th standing in the world FIFA ranking, and its highest was 10th in 2013.

The Tricolors played their first global match with Bolivia on August 8, 1938, and recently they played a draw match with Mexico on June 6, 2022. As of 2022, Ecuador has competed in three global tournaments such as the World Cup for the 4th time since 2002, 29 times for Copa America since 1939, and CONCACAF Gold Cup for the first time since 2002.
