Viktor continued his winning streak by capturing the Gold medal in the European U-17 Badminton Championships held in Medvode, Slovenia. In 2020, Axelsen reached the pinnacle of his career by winning the coveted gold medal in men's singles at the Tokyo Olympics. In an exhilarating final, he defeated China's Chen Long.
