Anthony Lewis Bellew a.k.a. Tony Bellew or Bomber, is an English boxer who won a Commonwealth Light Heavyweight Championship 2010 and 2014 and is thrice the ABA Heavyweight Champion.
In the 2015 sports drama and Rocky franchise spin-off, Creed, the fighter made his acting debut, portraying the role of “Pretty” Ricky Conlan.

Tony Bellew's Fighting Career
Tony Bellew started off his boxing career fighting out of Liverpool’s Rotunda ABC. He won both the 2002 and 2003 Novice ABC titles via knocking out every fighter he faced with the exception of Rob Hough who went the three rounds from Paramount ABC in the under ten fights championships.
After being eligible for the Senior Championship, Bellew stepped up to the 91 Kg heavyweight class and garnered his career with more titles.
On 6th October 2007, Tony Bellew made his professional boxing debut against Journeyman Jamie Ambler and made a successful start with a second-round win. He followed up the triumph with further victories over Wayne Brooks at the Bolton Arena and Adam Wilcox at Millennium Stadium in 2007.
The following year, he defeated Phil Goodwin, Jevgenijs Andrejeve, Hastings Rasani, Ayitey Powers, and Paul Bonson to take his record up to 8-0. In 2009 Bellew progressed to an undefeated 12-0 with further wins against Martial Bella Oleme, Jindrich Velecky, Nick Okoth, and Matthew Ellis.
On 9th December 2010, Bellew defeated former Commonwealth champion Ovill McKenzie in the 8th round and earned the title Commonwealth champion. The following year on 16th July, he made the third defense of Commonwealth title as well as won the British belt with a repeat win over Ovill Mackenzie.
On 15th October 2011, Bellew loss to Nathan Cleverly in Liverpool which was for the WBO light heavyweight title. Rebounding from loss, he took on Danny Mclntosh for the British light heavyweight title, beating his opponent out in the 5th round. Next, he faced Edison Miranda for the WBC international belt and stopped Miranda in the round nine.
Following the win over Malawian boxer Issac Chilemba, he was Mandatory Challenger for the WBC light heavyweight title. On 28th September 2013, Bellew lost the fight.
On 15th March 2014, Bellew made his debut as a cruiserweight fighter in a 12th round knockout of Valery Brudov at the Echo Arena, Liverpool and won the WBO International Cruiserweight title. Further, he successfully defended the title against Julio Cesar Dos Santos via TKO in round five.
On 22nd November 2014, Bellew refaced Nathan Cleverly but this time as cruiserweights fighter at the Echo Arena in Liverpool which was also a cruiserweight championship eliminator. He won the fight via split decision and held the title.
After a victorious battle, Bellew becomes WBC champion defeating Ilunga Makabu and BJ
On 4th March 2017, Bellew celebrated his first fight as a heavyweight with former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye with 11th TKO at the O2 Arena, London England. Also, in his very next fight heavyweight fight, he faced Haye and defeated him with 5th TKO at the same complex.

Tony Bellew's Personal Life
Tony Bellew, 35, is neither married nor single. Currently, he is an open relationship with his longtime girlfriend, Rachael Roberts who is very much part of the Bellew team. He has known Rachael since he was nine years old and the pair has been dating since they were teens.
Since 2014, he described Rachael as his wife, but the duo is not official yet. The lovebird is planning to tie the knot in July of 2018.
Blessed with three children: Corey, Cobey, and Carter, Bellew is very much family person. Despite wanting the Rolls Royce Wraith, he will never purchase one because the heavyweight champion wants to secure a bright future for his family. In an interview, he said, “I won’t even lease one. Do you know why? I’m not earning for me. I stopped earning for me when my first kid was born. I’m banking for them.”
His brother-in-law Ashley Roberts died on a family holiday in 2017 at the age of just 32.
