Taulia Tagovailoa is a rising American football player. He is currently playing in the Big Ten Conference for the University of Maryland. Taulia plays as a Quarterback for his team. Tagovailoa was named the MVP of the Pinstripe Bowl in 2021. 

Taulia Tagovailoa was born in 2000 in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. He is among the four children born to Galu Tagovailoa and his wife, Diane Tagoviloa. Taulia has two sisters, Taylor and Taysia and a brother Tau Tagovailoa,  American football quarterback for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. Also, He has two dogs, named Dallas and Star, because his family grew up Cowboys fans. Tagovailoa graduated from Thompson High School and enrolled at the University of Alabama. American Football and NFL Draft

Taulia started playing football along with his brother in his home. He played American football in his High School days for Thompson High School. Tagovialoa threw for 3,728 yards and 35 touchdowns in his senior year, breaking many school records. The player became the only high school quarterback in state history to have at least four 400-yard passing performances in his career. At the end of High School, Taulia has deemed a four-star recruit during the 2019 recruiting cycle.

The American player received numerous offers from universities but committed to play for Alabama. He followed his brother's successful footsteps. In his freshman year, Taulia spent most of his season as a  backup to his older brother, Tua Tagovailoa, and Mac Jones. Tagovailoa finished the season nine of 12 for 100 yards and one touchdown. For personal reasons, Taulia decided to transfer to the University of Maryland. In the sophomore year, The player ranked top five in the Big Ten in multiple passing categories and was named All-Bog Ten Honorable Mention. 

In the 2021 season, Taulia started in all thirteen games for Maryland and earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention after leading Maryland to the program's first winning season since 2014 and the program's first bowl bid since 2016. At the end of the season, He was named  MVP of the 2021 Pinstripe Bowl against Virginia Tech. 

Many of his supporters and reports expect him to list his name for the upcoming NFL draft. He is among the top-ranked prospectus for the draft.
