Samantha Jane Stosur shortly known as Samantha Stosur is a 33-year-old Australian professional tennis player born in Brisbane. She found her interest in tennis at the young age of 8 and made her professional debut in 1999 on the ITF Women's Circuit. She is a former world No. 1 in doubles and a former world No. 4 in singles. She also became the winner of 2011 US Open by defeating Serena Williams.
