American mixed martial artist Nick Diaz get to breather on the streets. The 34-year old Stockton, California-born athlete was realized from imprisonment after being charged with domestic violence.
An online search conducted by the MMAjunkie at the Clara Country Detention Center revealed Diaz is no longer in custody. The UFC veteran has been released after being held with a bail set at $18,000.

Diaz was arrested on Thursday night, May 24 and was charged with felony domestic battery by strangulation for an alleged incident involving a female victim. Officers from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department responded to a call on Thursday and were dispatched to a residence at around 7:20 pm.
A witness told the MMA fighters about the arrival of 12 units and the alleged victim was then transported to a local hospital, and Diaz was contentious with officers during his fight.
In a statement released on Friday, May 25, the UFC said it was aware of the situation,
"The organization does not tolerate domestic violence and requires all athletes to adhere to the UFC Fighter Conduct Policy,” the statement read. “Every athlete is deserving of due process, and this situation, as with any official allegations, will be duly reviewed and thoroughly investigated by an independent party."
