After three years in the field, he finally won his first title, WBC Youth World Super Flyweight Title on 11th July 2015 against Jhaleei Payao. He retained the title the following bout against Yuenyong Aunnawetwanit on 3rd November that same year.
On 7th March 2016, he won the interim Philippines Boxing Federation (PBF) Super Flyweight Title against Edison Berwela. In his next fight against Jecker Buhawe, he won the vacant Philippines Boxing Federation (PBF) Bantamweight Title on 29th April 2016.
On 20th April 2018, he won the vacant IBO World Bantamweight Title.
He is scheduled to face Naoya Inoue on 19th June 2021 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Las Vegas for the World Boxing Association Super World Bantam Title and International Boxing Federation World Bantam Title.
