Daniel Colindres Solera, commonly known as Daniel Colindres, is a Costa Rican international football forward currently playing for Costa Rica national team and Deportivo Saprissa.

Daniel Colindres' Club Career

Following various youth set up at Saprissa, Colindres made his first team and professional debut in 2010. After playing three matches for Saprissa, he was loaned out to Guápiles. During his loan spell with Guápiles, he made 43 game appearances scoring nine goals.

In 2012, he returned to his parent club, Saprissa and played 32 matches and scored five goals in his second stint with the club. In January 2013, he was moved to Puntarenas signing a six-month loan deal. With Puntarenas, he scored seven goals in 20 matches.

Upon his return to Saprissa, Colindres established himself as an important attacking player for the club, playing mainly as a winger and being prominent for his pace and playmaking ability. During his stint with the club, he led the Saprissa’s team to win five domestic titles.

Daniel Colindres' International Career

In September 2011, Colindres made his international debut for Costa Rica national team in a friendly match against the USA.

In May 2018, he was selected in Costa Rica’s 23 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup along with his teammates Johnny Acosta, Celso Borges, and Bryan Ruiz. He made his World Cup debut replacing David Guzman in the 73rd minute in a match against Serbia.
