It is reported that the average annual earnings for the pro-snowboarder is $17,000 which puts up the salary for the professional snowboard instructor to be around $31,000. Though, the contradiction to this salary payoff, Canadian snowboarder Shaun White earns $10 million annually while his net worth is reported to be  $40 million.

Well, the 2014 Winter Olympics finale qualifier, Anna Gasser also played in the 2017 X Games where she won the gold medal in Slopestyle, a bronze medal in Big Air in Hafjell and a silver for Big Air in Aspen. 

Also for her victory in the 2017 World Champion, Gasser was rewarded $40,000 alongside her win in the Burton US Open.

In the 2018 Winter Olympics in  Pyeongchang, Gasser represented Austria and won the gold medal in the Big Air event leaving behind American snowboarder Jamie Anderson and New Zealand's Zoi Sadowski-Synnott to win a silver and bronze medal respectively.

For her gold medal, Gasser reportedly earned the prize money of $33,000 as Austria pays the sum as an honor for their hard work and dedication.

Well, with the good news of 64 gold medal counts for Austria including Gasser's victory, they also had to bear the heart-breaking news of Austrian snowboarder Markus Schairer broke his neck during the men's cross quarterfinals at the Pyeongchang Olympics on February 15, 2018.

And currently, he is hospitalized going through recovery.

Career Journey of Anna Gasser

Initially, the pro-snowboarder Anna Gasser was a part of the Austrian National Gymnastics Team, however, her growing interest in snowboarding led her career debut in the 2010-2011 season. And then after finishing 18th in the FIS Snowboarding World Championships 2013, she made her way up to the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The prominent Austrian athlete even finished first in the slopestyle qualifying events and earned an automatic berth to the finals, however, with her failed runs, she had to satisfy in the 10th place.

Anna's 2017 season went on a rampage as she won 3- X Games medals accompanied by her gold medal in slopestyle at the Burton US Open and another gold medal at the snowboarding World Championships receiving a score of 100. She was awarded the ESPY Award for Best Female Action Sports Athlete in 2017 and was named the Austrian Sportsperson of the Year for 2017.

Then in 2018, Anna Gasser, made her second Olympic appearance and this time, she won a gold medal in the Big Air event at 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang with her signature Cab Double Underflip.
