Scott's got his hand in the philanthropy works too. He is famous for his inspirational video talking about the fight against cancer, supporting Pittsburgh running back James Conner.

In April 2017, he gave his word of helping out his alma mater in a major way. A student asked the ESPN anchor that they need $1,255 donation to fulfill their goal for the University of Maryland student-run sports radio station and the answer was a big yes as per the tweet of Jake Russell.
