The Lamoureux Sisters' Mission: Women's Hockey Gold Against Canada Ice Hockey

Just some hours away from their final match against Canada, the US hockey team is ready for the redemption after losing in the final game four years ago. The US team will be taking at least silver medal from Pyeongchang and the two reasons are the are the Lamoureux twins- Monique Lamoureux and Jocelyne Lamoureux.

The twin sisters have been the most decisive player and are the best forwards, the US hockey team has on their squad.

Well, it won't be a surprise for those who watched their game in the Vancouver or Sochi Games.

In a short interview with “Good Morning America” anchor Amy Robach, the twin sister and US team revealed their mission in Pyeongchang-  a gold medal matchup with Canada.

"It's tough to put into words -- we've literally been training four years for this one game. We have done everything we can as a team to be successful and hopefully, we get the result that we we’ve been working for four years." Monique Lamoureux.

The US team is trying to win its second Olympic gold medal after 20 years since they won in since 1998. Canada has always dominated the competition since then. Canada won the last four Olympics gold medal beating the United States on three occasions in the final.

"We have played this game thousands of times in our heads and prepared for it, months of preparation: physically, mentally," Jocelyne said. "We are confident in the group we have ... to end the streak." the other twin sister Jocelyne said.

The native of North Dakota, Lamoureux Sisters and competing in their third Olympic tournament. They previously won silver medal twice in Sochi and Vancouver.
