Ice Skating! a couple doing the ice dance really give some chills. Today we are talking about the 28-year old Canadian ice dancer Tessa Virtue, the  2010 and 2018 Olympic Champion, the 2014 Olympic silver medalist, three-time World champion (2010, 2012, 2017) along with her dance partner Scott Moir. 

The ice stage couple is performing their romantic dance since they were under 10 years old.  So, the relationship and dating rumors of Tessa and Scott is going high, even more, they are rumored to be married. So what's the truth about their affair? Let's know.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir's Relationship

Well, Tessa Virtue and Scott's 20 years of togetherness is not a joke, but despite performing together these years, Tessa and Scott's relationship seems frozen like the ice dance floor. The rumors of Tessa and Scott gets a dead shot here as they are not reported to be married like the American figure skater Tara Lipinski married to Todd Kapostasy.

So, probably they might be dating then. Well, the surprising fact is that Tessa and Scott are not dating too. Really! though Tessa and Scott once dated when Tessa was 7 and Scott was 9, but soon after they have turned themselves into very close friends.

Initially, Tessa and Scott's alleged relationship rumor got a fire after they shared a kissing moment while on Sochi 2014 FD warmup. But, probably, that was nothing more than a part of their performance.

In their interview with Ellen DeGeneres in the Ellen Show on March 20, 2018,  the alleged couple cleared the rumors of their relationship after revealing that they are not dating.

Tessa Virtue said:

"We are not, but we always say that that’s a big compliment. What we portray on the ice is really important to us. We love getting into character, we love telling a story."

Ellen jokingly asked them if they are going to settle down and start a family in near future, for which Mori corrected "Families" not a family, hinting that they were going to marry different persons.

Also, Tessa and Scott played The Definitely Not Dating Game where they had to guess each other’s answers to questions. But it was funny that the couple who were not dating got the answers right.

Really, they have cut off the talks that say boys and girls can't remain only friends for a long time same as the German born-American figure skater Ashley Wagner's famed friendly relationship with Adam Rippon.
