Stephan Patrick Bonnar or famously known as Stephan Bonnar is an American former mixed martial artist. Nicknamed the American Psycho, the veteran MMA fighter is also a professional wrestler currently competing under New York-based Wrestling company Independent circuit since 2017.
He was also inducted into the prestigious UFC Hall of Fame on July 6, 2013. He competed under the Lightweight division in UFC and was also part of Bellator.
Though his exact salary is not known, according to the sources after his impressive bout with Forrest, he signed with UFC for a contract death worth in the region of the six-figure amount. The précised amount is not known.

Stephan Bonnar holds an American nationality. He was born in Hammond, Indiana, in the United States of America on April 4, 1977, but was raised in Munster, Indiana.
While growing up, he had a keen interest in martial arts since his boyhood times. Initially, he began his training in wrestling and went on to train in Tae Kwon Do and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He additionally received training in Muay Thai and boxing and did his schooling from Munster High School in Indiana.
Bonnar also completed an undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine at Purdue University.
A black belt recipient in Tae Kwon Do, his fighting career soars after his loss against Forest Griffin, but due to his fighting techniques and skills, he was offered a contract by American famous MMA promotion, Ultimate Fighting Championship.
While under UFC he fought several matches and won against MMA fighters such as Igor Pokrajac, Kyle Kingsbury, etc.
On October 30, 2012, he announced his retirement from MMA and UFC. He was inducted to UFC Hall of Fame in 2013, which was announced by president Dana White.
He later signed with fellow American MMA promotion, Bellator on August 27, 2014, and later took on Tito Ortiz at Bellator 131 and lost through a split decision.
