Raul Ruidiaz is a native of VillaMaria del Triunfo, Preu born on 25th July 1990, to father, Raul Ruidiaz Chuica, and mother, Tatiana Miletich. At the young age of eight, he made his first steps in club football at Universitario de Deportes.
Raul Ruidiaz's Club Career
Following various youth set-up at Universitario, Ruidiaz was promoted to the senior team in 2008 and promptly loaned to America Cochahuayco.
On 4th October 2009, Ruidiaz made his Peruvian First Division debut against Total Chalaco in the Monumental. He finished the season playing seven matches with three goals in the Peruvian 2009 Championship as well as winning his first National title with Universitario.
Universidad de Chile
On 20th January 2012, Ruidiaz signed to Primera Division club Universidad de Chile. He played few matches with his new club, and fell out of favor with the Universidad de Chile manager towards the end of the season and mutually agreed with the club to release him on 15th July 2012.
For the 2016-17 season, Ruidiaz moved to Monarcas Morelia, signing a season-long loan deal from Universitario for a reported transfer fee of €105,000. On 15th July 2016, he made his Liga MX debut in a 2-0 away defeat to Tijuana.
For the 2017-18 season, Ruidiaz signed to a permanent three-year transfer to Morelia.
