Jose Carvallo’s Career

After playing for the junior team of Universitario de Deportes, he joined the main team to begin his senior as well as professional playing career in 2002 and made his debut against Atletico Universidad.

He was the part of the successful Universitario team that went to win the Torneo Descentralizado in 2013 and made 94 appearances for the team.

Carvallo while playing for Universitario club, was also transferred to clubs such as  American soccer club, D.C United and fellow Peruvian club, Sporting Cristal in 2008.  He was made a permanent player by Sporting Cristal and signed him to a two year deal in early 2009.

After his spell at Cristal, he joined one of the oldest football clubs in Peru history, FBC Melgar in 2011.

He later signed with his former club, Universitario de Deportes in 2013 and made over 100 appearances for the team before leaving Universitario in 2015 for Universidad Technica de Cajamarca.

Carvallo is currently playing for Universidad Technica de Cajamarca, whom he signed in 2016.

Jose Carvallo’s International Career

After having represented  Peru in U-15, U-17 and U-20 level, he made his senior international debut for Peru against Bolivia in a friendly match on 26 September 2007.

As of 2018, he has made five appearances for the Peru team and is in the included in the main team along with Peruvian players such as defender, Christian Ramos, and midfielder, Edison Flores for Peruvian squad led by Alberto Junior Rodriguez which are expected to play at the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.
