New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton was tested positive for coronavirus becoming the first known NFL personality to be diagnosed with the pandemic virus. The NFL Network reported that he has been infected with the virus for 8 days and is self-isolating at home.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the news and revealed that Payton felt the symptoms after he attended a horse race at Oaklawn Park in Arkansas.
Sean later posted a selfie on his Twitter revealing about testing positive and wrote:
"Appreciate the well wishes. I'm feeling better and fortunate to not have any of the respiratory symptoms. 4 more days at home. #BEATCovid."
