Club Career

Standard Liège

Michy Batshuayi began his professional football career in 2011, representing the Belgian professional club Standard Liège. He made his professional club debut on 20 February 2011, in a match against Gent. His debut goal for the club came against F.C. Copenhagen in the UEFA Europa League on 15 December 2011. His first league goal came on 14 January 2012 against Germinal Beerschot. His three seasons with the club ended with 97 appearances and 39 Goals.

Marseille

Batshuayi joined the League 1 club Marseille on 8 August 2014 and made his debut the next day against Bastia, replacing Dmitri Payet. He scored his first goal for the club in their 2–1 defeat at Rennes in the third round of the Coupe de la Ligue. He scored 17 goals in the league, only two goals behind the top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He was in the club for two seasons, making 62 appearances and scoring 26 goals.

Chelsea

Michy Batshuayi moved to the Premier League side Chelsea on 3 July 2016, signing a five-year deal with the club. He was the club's first signing under their new manager, Antonio Conte. He made his competitive debut for the club against West Ham United on 15 August 2015, assisting a goal for Diego Costa. He scored his debut premier league goal on 20 August 2015 against Watford. He played for the club, joining Eden Hazard, Pedro, and Morata in the forward line.

Michy Batshuayi has represented his national side in Belgium at both junior and senior levels. He made his senior international debut on 28 March 2015 in a UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying match against Cyprus, replacing Christian Benteke in the 77th minute and scoring a goal.
