Initially, before moving to the US from Turkey, Enes played in the Turkish Super League till 2008 and later played for Washington Huskies in 2009 in the US. Then in 2011, Enes was picked by the Utah Jazz in the 2011 NBA draft resulting the offer worth $8.8 million later on December 9, 2011.

After his debut, 2011 season with the annual salary of $3.57 million, Enes was given the option bonus of $4.51 million for the 2013-2014 season on October 26, 2012. A year later on October 29, 2013, Enes got $5.69 million option bonus for the 2014-2015 season, which was his last season with the Jazz.

Soon on February 19, 2015, Enes was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder on a 3-team trade where 
Utah traded Kyle Singler, D.J. Augustin, and Steve Novak to Oklahoma City with the return trade by City Thunder of Grant Jerrett, Tibor Pleiss and Kendrick Perkins to Utah. Oklahoma City also traded Reggie Jackson to Detroit.

Moving on to the topic again, Enes was extended a qualifying offer by the City Thunder worth $7.47 million on June 29, 2015, making him the restricted free agent for the 2014-2015 season.

Then on July 9, 2015, Enes received a 4-year, $70 million offer sheet from the Portland Trail Blazers, however, he signed a 4-year max offer deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder later on July 13. 2015.

Enes played for the City Thunder till the mid-2017, and later on September 25, 2017, he was traded to New York Knicks along with Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round pick, in exchange for Carmelo Anthony

As reported, Enes Kanter's trader for the 2017 season was $2.68 million while he earned the annual salary of $17.88 million from his due contract with City Thunder. And for the 2018 season, Enes' annual salary is reported to be $18.62 million while carrying the cap hit and dead cap value of $18.6 million for each.

Endorsements of Enes Kanter

Sadly, besides other NBA stars like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry, Enes has not got the official endorsements deal despite being so famous. Then what's the reason then? 

Well, Enes, the rising star NBA star got his endorsement offers locked off after he made the Tweet disrespecting the Turkish President Erdogan. For this move, Enes is reported to seek a 4-year prison following his return to Turkey.

Though he is not far from the signing the endorsement deal. He indicated his close to signing with highly-respected agent Mark Bartelstein on March 26, 2018. Enes Kanter stated:

"Outside of the court, I make almost no money because of all the Turkish stuff. Most companies are scared to give me any contract because of what’s going on in Turkey. If I had an agent maybe I’ll get some Chinese shoe company or Filipino or whatever."

He further added:

"That’s why I’m signing with him. That’s the reason. I’m lucky to have one agent,” Kanter said. “I haven’t signed with him yet."

Well, Enes seems fond of keeping his property details low, but we do have some information about his cars and house. Though he earns the massive amount of salary and net worth, Enes is not reported to have owned a single house yet. 

Boycotted by the Turkish government, Enes somehow is homeless without his birthland support. But he has made the New York his adopted home and currently lives in his apartment in New York which is a short cab ride from the Madison Square Garden

The story of Enes' residence is not over yet. Also, previously in 2012,  while Enes played for the Utah Jazz, he rented a home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

And the most interesting part came out as Enes reported that his Utah house was haunted. Later he left the house, however, regarding the purchase and rent details of Enes' residence, it is still a mystery.

Well surfing throughout the Internet, Enes' name seems to be linked with House of One, which is religious structure Berlin bringing 3 religions together. The House of One will contain a church, a mosque, and a synagogue.

Club and International Career of Enes Kanter

Talking about Enes club career, before getting professional Enes had won the honors like FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship MVP 2009 and Albert Schweitzer Tournament Most Talented Player in 2008. 

Soon after the 2011 NBA draft, Kanter got signed by the Utah Jazz which earned helped him to gain fame and earn a lucrative salary. On his debut match against the LA Lakers, Enes Kanter made the most rebounds for a Jazz rookie with his record of 11 and averaged the 4.6 points and 4.2 rebounds on the season.

Then later in 2015, Kanter got traded to Oklahoma City Thunder where he played for 2 seasons. While in City Thunder, he recorded a season-high 27 points and 10 rebounds in a 112–103 win over the New York Knicks on November 28, 2016

Later in 2017, New York Knicks made the trade for Kanter with City Thunder, making him a new Knicks player. In the 2017 season, Enes had a season-high 31 points and tied a career-best with 22 rebounds in a 105–98 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on December 25, 2017.

 On March 6, 2018, Kanter made 32nd double-double of the season, a career high with the 18 points and 11 rebounds despite facing loss to Portland Trail Blazers. 

Kanter's first international debut was in the 2008 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship in Italy when he played with Turkish national basketball team. Though he averaged 22.9 points, 16.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 34.6 minutes per game, Jonas Valanciunas was chosen as the MVP after he averaged 14.3 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 23.5 minutes.

However, later in 2009 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship, Enes Kanter won the MVP award. Even though Kanter declined to play for the senior national team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship, later in 2011 EuroBasket, Kanter joined the squad. 

Since then, he has not made any International appearances with Turkey, and no recent news regarding the allegations of disrespecting the Turkish President by Kanter is not out.
