Diego Perotti is an Argentinian professional football player who plays as a  winger for Argentina national team and Italian Serie A club, AS Roma.

Upon arriving at Spain, he played for a couple of seasons with the Spanish football club, Sevilla, he made his debut with the main team on 15 February 2009 against RCD Espanyol and scored his first goal against Deportivo de La Coruna on 23 May 2009.

He was the part of the successful Sevilla team that went on to win the UEFA Europa League in 2013/14 season. Perotti was transferred to Argentinian football club, Boca Juniors for 2014 season as a part of loan deal exchange from Sevilla.

He later signed a four-year contract deal with Italian football club, Genoa CFC in the summer of 2014 and made his official debut against SSC Napoli on 31 August 2014.

The Argentine midfielder was transferred to Italian football club, AS Roma as part of a loan deal from Genoa for 2016 season. He later signed a permanent contract with AS Roma in the same 2016 season that would be seen with the club till the summer of 2019.

Diego Perotti ‘s International Career

He made his full senior international debut for Argentina against Spain as a substitute for Lionel Messi on 14 November 2009.

Perotti has made five appearances for Argentina and has yet to score an international goal.

He was included striker Gonzalo Higuain and midfilder, Manuel Lanzini in preliminary 35 man squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia but did not make into the final team.
