He helped the team win numerous other tournaments scoring 16.4 points and grabbing 10 rebounds per game, also winning a couple of Player of the Week honors.
Dejan moved to Pamesa Valencia in the Spanish league at the end of his playing career and then to Galatasaray Cafe Crown in the 2008-9 season.
Dejan represented Yugoslavia's National team in numerous events. He was part of the 1998 22&Under European Championship gold medal-winning team. In 2001, The player was selected for EuroBasket and earned a gold medal in the final.
