Danuel House attended Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas, where he played for his high school basketball team.

House joined the Washington Wizards for the 2016 NBA Summer League after being undrafted in the 2016 draft NBA. He signed with the Wizards on September 23, 2016. House-made his NBA debut on 11 November 2016 and recorded a rebound against the Cleveland Cavaliers in 50 seconds of action. 

House appeared in only one game for the Wizards, missing 39 games with the right wrist injury and ten games on assignment to the Delaware 87ers of the NBA Development League.

He signed up for the Houston Rockets later. However, at the end of the pre-season on October 15, he was one of the players to be excluded from the final roster. Subsequently, he was assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the newly renamed NBA G League team.

The Phoenix Suns signed a two-way contract with House on 8 December 2017. House split his playing time between Phoenix and their NBA G League, the North Arizona Suns, throughout the rest of the season.

On June 26, 2018, it was revealed that House would play in the 2018 NBA Summer League for the Houston Rockets. On 21 September 2018, the House signed a contract with the Golden State Warriors. Later on October 12, the Warriors released him, and he eventually rejoined  Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

On November 26, 2018, the Houston Rockets announced that they had called up House from their NBA G League affiliate, Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Still, several days later, the Houston Rockets announced on Twitter that they had waived the House on 4 December. Two days later, the Rockets signed a two-way contract with House. 

Currently, he is assigned with jersey no 4, playing along with his star teammates such as Clint Capela, Brandon Knight, Eric Gordon, and many more.
