Serena Williams, the professional tennis player who holds the most Grand Slam titles has hit a grand slam in her relationship as well. For a long time, Serena has been involved in a various relationship that was until she found the one who would make her want to settle down.

As mentioned before, Serena Williams is currently married to Alexis Ohanian. The couple got engaged in December of 2016 and after 11 months of their engagement, exchanged their wedding vows in November of 2017. The couple did a Beauty and the Beast-themed wedding and had a list of A-list celebrity such as Beyonce and Kim Kardashian.

Serena's husband Alexis Ohanian is a tech entrepreneur as well as a best-selling author from the US. He is a co-founder of the social news website Reddit. He is successful on his own regards and has quite a fortune in his name.

This seems like an unlikely pairing and the two met through a co-incidence while in Rome. They had no idea about who the other person was and began the start of their relationship. A year and a half later, the couple got engaged with Alexis popping the question in the same restaurant in Italy where the two had first met. Serena seems to happy in her relationship and she looks happy to be married.

Past Affairs of Serena Williams

Before her relationship with Alexis Ohanian, Serena has been in the relationship with various celebrities multiple times in the past. One of her famous past lovers is the film director Brett Ratner.

She had been seeing Ratner in 2004 and 2005 but she dumped him once he chose to got to a New York Party thrown by P. Diddy instead of coming to her matches. She had felt disrespected and took the decision to end the affair.

One of Serena Williams relationship that hurt her more after the relationship was her relationship with Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov. Dimitrov and Serena had been in a relationship in the past but had ended things. But, in 2015, Dimitrov started dating Serena's rival Maria Sharapova which must have felt hard for her. On one occasion, she is reported to have said Dimitrov to have had a black heart.

Serena was also in a relationship with the singer/rapper Drake. They had first dated in 2012 and gotten back together in 2015. Whether it be Drake's reputation of being a ladies man being true or she lost her interest in him, she ended things with him. Drake was also Serena's last affair before meeting her future husband Alexis.

Whoever she may have been in a relationship in the past, only Alexis has given her the happiness of being a wife and a mother. She only has one child for now but maybe in the future, she shall try to give her daughter a sibling as well.
