Zhou Qi is a Chinese professional basketball player for NBA team, Houston Rockets, he is primarily deployed at power forward or center position and occasionally in a central position.

Before he moved to the USA and joined the NBA, he played with the Chinses Basketball team, Xinjiang Flying Tigers.

Zhou Qi was born to Zhou Jianwei on January 16, 1996, in Xinxiang, Henan, China. His father and mother both were tall with the height of 6ft 5 and 5ft 11.5 inches respectively.

He first caught the notice of Chinese talent scout when he led China to win the TBF International U 16 Tournament in 2011.

Qi later established himself best teen Basket players in an international basketball arena in Albert Schweitzer Tournament in 2012. During the tournament, he recorded an average score of 16.2 points,7.8 rebounds,4.2 blocks in 28.2 minutes per match.

After settling an agreement with Xinjiang Flying Tigers, that enable him to join the NBA that had global stars like Michael Jordan and Lebron James.
