Often making the internet highlights through her viral actions, Maroney is well known for her relationship with controversial issues too, but it seems the opposite in the case of her boyfriend and dating details. But, it's hard to believe that alluring beauty is not dating. Back in 2016, Maroney told US Weekly that she was “very much single" because as an Olympic gymnast, she was restricted to have any romantic relationships.
"We weren’t allowed to have a boyfriend, you’re so dedicated and committed. I mean, I was in the gym for like eight hours a day, and then outside of that I’d be doing school or writing songs in my free time, so there really wasn’t time for boys at all."
And as for now, she has pulled up her career as an Olympian, so might be she is dating and keeping her relationship details a secret.

Her caption is quite unclear, maybe the guy is one of her good friends or maybe he is that special one. However, she has not opened about the issue to date, neither the identity of the boy is revealed.
Besides this, Maroney became a part of a controversy after she shared a photo of her show out, which was projected to make her secret ex-boyfriend jealous as per the Terez Owens.
Larry Nassar, probably many of us have heard the name of the former American USA Gymnastics national team doctor, famed as the serial child abuser. Yeah, the Olympic gold medalist McKayla Maroney is the victim of Nassar's abuse.
In 2018, Maroney revealed that she got abused since the first day she met him at the age of 13, on Today Show’s Savannah Guthrie. Furthermore, it is revealed that she was molested hundreds of times.

Well, McKayla is no the only one to get abused, other female gymnasts like Simone Biles, Mattie Larson, Aly Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, and Kyla Ross also rose the voice against the abuse.
And after Nassar was pleaded guilty to abusing female athletes under the guise of medical treatment in July 2017, he was sentenced to life in prison.
