Arturo Vidal, who started his professional career with Colo-Colo in 2005, after a couple of years, got transferred to Bayer Leverkusen in 2007. Leverkusen paid $11 million for the contract along with $7.7 million for 70% ownership, which broke the previous national record of Matías Fernández's transfer to Villarreal worth of $9 million.

With his productive performance in 2011 season, Vidal was offered a deal by Seria A club Juventus and he joined Juventus with a 5-year contract of $12.34 million on July 22 that year. The precise amount of his salary is undisclosed. However, it is estimated to be about  £100,000 a week.

After playing for the Juventus till 2015 season, later, Vidal signed a 4-year contract with Bundesliga club, Bayern Munich on July 28, 2015. The deal worth of $43.49 million(£28 million) offered Vidal a signing bonus of $3.52 million.

In 2016, the Munich's midfielder with his jersey number 23, earned the annual salary of $9.16 million. As of 2017, his precise salary is yet to be revealed, but as estimated he earned $10 million. His weekly wage was €150,000.

Back in November 2017, Bayern Munich made the announcement that Vidal will be allowed to leave the team with their offering match, which is worth $66.61 million(£50 million).

Many of you might not know that Vidal suffered minor injuries on 16 June 2015, during the 2015 Copa América, when while under the influence of alcohol he crashed his Ferrari in Santiago.

Arturo with his starting career from Colo-Colo scored 3 goals in the Colo-Colo's Copa Sudamericana 2006 campaign, which brought him in the highlights. Later, he joined  Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen in 2007, where he played for four seasons contributing two goals in the club's run to the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League.

Then moving to Juventus in 2011, he won Scudetti in all of his four seasons and became widely recognized as one of the best midfielders after playing UEFA Champions League Final. He was named to the ten-man shortlist for the 2015 UEFA Best Player In Europe Award on July 15, 2015, was ranked 8th later in August.
