A native of Mace, Rio de Janeiro, Talita Bernardo is a female mixed martial artist, who currently competes in Ultimate Fighting Championship. A professional since 2015, Bernardo previously competed in the events such as PRVT, MF, RF, AFC, and LFN.
Talita Bernardo was born on 4th March 1987, in Macae, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her birth sign Pisces. By nationality, Bernardo is Brazilian.
Once a BJJ black belt in Rio de Janeiro told her she couldn’t beat one of his student in a fight even though she trained anything before. So with a challenge, she began training BJJ to face the student and ended up beating her (student).
After five years, Bernardo concentrated on BJJ and earned a black belt. Then she transited to MMA due to her husband.
Before she entered in MMA world, Bernardo used to serve as a sports teacher in schools.
In her first UFC match, Bernardo earned $10,000 show cash and $3,500 Reebok sponsorship on UFC Fight Night 215 despite her defeat. Similarly, through her second UFC fight, she received $10,000 show cash and $2,500 Reebok sponsorship cash on UFC 124. Talita was defeated in her second event match.

Before turning professional, Bernardo faced Dailane de Silva at NTF – Niteroi Top Fight 4, where he won the fight via submission, on 21st December 2014.
On 31st January 2015, Bernardo made her official debut against Nubia Santos do Nascimento at PRVT – Tamoios Fight. She won the fight via sub, mission (Rear-Naked Choke) in the first round. She next faced Juliana Velasquez at Face to Face 11 – Borrachinha vs. Wagnao where she got defeated via unanimous decision.
Then after she gave series off a win against Lohanna Correia, Priscila Cristina Dias Batista, Gisele Moreira, and Iren Racz at MF – Maximus Fight 2, RF – Rambo Fight, AFC 41 – Road to KSW, and LFC 5 – Five Points respectively.
On 2nd September 2017, Bernardo made her UFC debut against Marion Reneau at UFC Fight Night 115 – Volkov vs. Struve. She lost her debut fight via TKO in the round three. She next faced Irene Aldana at UFC Fight Night 124 – Stephens vs. Choi. She got defeated second time via unanimous decision in the 3rd round.

Thirty-one-year-old, Talita Bernardo is a happily married woman. She tied the wedding knot with her husband Josimar Junior on 11th December 2011. The couple together is blessed with a beautiful daughter.
Talita is also teaching martial arts to her daughter and often shares the photos on her child learning, on Instagram.
Both the husband and wife belong to the same field, hence are very supportive of each other. So far, there is no news and rumors about conflicts, extra-marital affairs, and divorce in their marital relationship.
