T.J. Warren is an American professional Basketball Player player who plays in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Warren was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the 2014 NBA draft and has played for the team ever since.

T.J. Warren's Early Life

Anthony Warren Jr. was born on September 5, 1993, in Durham, North Carolina. He is the son of Tony Warren Sr.  who is a former North Carolina State basketball player. He grew up along with his siblings, Nikita Warren.

Anthony Warren Jr. attended Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire where he played for his high school basketball team.

After completing high school, Anthony Warren Jr. enrolled at North Carolina State University and played for the North Carolina Wolfpack. He played two seasons of college basketball and forewent the rest of the seasons to enter the NBA draft.

T.J. Warren's Professional Life

T.J. Warren was picked by the Phoenix Suns in the 2014 NBA draft with their 14th overall pick. Warren was assigned to the Bakersfield Jam of the NBA Development League multiple time during his rookie season. He ended his rookie season with a record average of 6.1 points, and 2.1 rebounds appearing in 40 games.

In the 2015-16 season, Warren was able to record his first career double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds in a 107-102 win against the Toronto Raptors. He broke his foot during the season and was ruled out for the rest of the season on February 2, 2016. He ended the season with an average of 11.0 points and 3.1 rebounds.

After recovering from the injury, T.J. Warren returned to the court in September 2016. He also filled in as the starting small forward for the injured P.J. Tucker. He made a great improvement in his season stat ending the 2016-17 season with an average of 14.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.

The Suns extended Warrens stay at the team signing him with a four-year, $50 million contract extension on September 26, 2017. The contract will keep Warren tied to Suns till 2021-22 season. At the end of the 2017-18 season, he had an average of 19.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists starting in 65 of the 66 games.

T.J. Warren along with Devin Booker, Josh Jackson, and Dragan Bender are some of the players that fill up the current roster of the Phoenix Suns.
