Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is a native of Lleida, Spain, was born on 27th February 1995, in a family with the sporting background to former footballer Nikola Milinkovic (father) and mother Milana Savic, a professional basketball player.
Talking more, Sergej's brother Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is his fellow teammate in Serbian Cap who is two years younger than Sergej and is the youngest WC player this season. Sergej is a Serbian national player with Caucasian-white ethnicity.
Playing professionally since 26 December 2012, Sergej has played for Vojvodina( 2013–2014), Genk(2014–2015), and Lazio( 2015) from which he must have made a massive amount of money.

As a learner, Sergej joined a Serbian professional football club, Vojvodina, where he was named in youth squad alongside Mijat Gacinovic and Nebojsa Kosovic that won two consecutive national youth championship titles. Finally, he made a three-year deal with this club on 26 December 2012.
His first goal for this club helped to draw by 1–1 with Spartak Subotica. In total, Sergej made his appearance in 13 leagues scoring three goals in the 2013–14 season.
In June 2014, Sergej seal five years contract deal with Belgian club Genk, where he received number 20 shirt. In his debut match for this club, he helped to draw league with Cercle Brugge by 1–1. For this club, he played in 24 matches scoring a total of five league goals during the 2014–15 season.
On 31 July 2015, Sergej arrived at Italian football club Lazio and making his debut for this club in a 1–0 home win over Bayer Leverkusen. He scored his first goal for this club in a 1–1 Europa League draw against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
During the second season with Lazio, Sergej scored seven goals in 39 appearances.
Sergej represented Serbia Under-19 internationally at 2013 UEFA Under-19 Championship, where he won a gold medal. In October 2015, he was called up for his senior debut against Albania and Portugal in UEFA Euro 2016 qualifiers.
Recently, Sergej was named in Serbia’s preliminary squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia alongside with Predrag Rajkovic, Marko Dmitrovic, Aleksandar Kolarov, and Branislav Ivanovic.
